As the Fleet and Facilities Coordinator at the Fire Department, my role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of essential resources. I hold the responsibility of overseeing all aspects related to fleet and facilities management. This includes scheduling and coordinating major repairs for our fleet of vehicles, as well as maintaining the buildings and grounds associated with the fire department. Additionally, I play a key role in coordinating the annual maintenance of all District apparatus, ensuring that our equipment remains in optimal condition. The maintenance of the District’s station is also within my purview, contributing to the overall efficiency and readiness of our firefighting operations. In essence, my position involves a comprehensive approach to the upkeep and functionality of both the physical infrastructure and vehicular assets critical to the Fire Department’s mission.
