“Making a Difference”
Our Fire District was given the opportunity in 2022 to redefine “who we are.” That meant looking at our District’s Mission, Vision, and Values. To do that, an outside consultant was brought in to work with our three shifts and administrative staff to seek input from everyone at all levels on what our membership valued about our organization, and what our organization valued in its mission to serve the community. Values are the guiding principles that provide an organization with purpose and direction. After several months and several work sessions, our membership settled on Community, Team, Character, and Professionalism. These values are represented in the people that become team members. These values are represented in the way we provide service, and they are included in our decision-making process daily, as well as our plans for the future.
